Clarion Hotel / Renewal Village Modernization

OVERVIEW

Clarion Hotel / Renewal Village Modernization

Nine-story renovation of the old Clarion Hotel in Globeville, converting hotel rooms to 108 units of supportive housing and 107 units of transitional housing. The renovation included ADA upgrades, HVAC upgrades, new plumbing, new electric service, and renovations to the finishes in all the units & corridors. The project also included installing a fire sprinkler system, new kitchenettes, elevator upgrades, and enhanced security on-site. Extensive asbestos remediation was also included in the project scope. The project also includes the infill of an existing pool. The project was completed in the City & County of Denver, which required new zoning from R1 to R2. Centerre provided significant input and direction to the design and ownership team with the Denver Planning & Building Department, Zoning Department, Fire Department, and CDPHE.
